Who was Mohamad?

Who is Mohamed

(PBUH)  Peace Be Upon Him ...
Mohamed (PBUH) was born in the desert. He was an orphan cared for by his uncle and grandfather. He was raised to be a shepherd. He could not read or write until a voice sent by God told him to read.  When he grew up people in his community called him Alamin meaning “the truthful”.

Mohamed is our prophet, a husband, a father, a friend and a messenger to  guide all mankind. Mohamed taught the Quran and how to worship and obey Allah. He taught us about Allah and was inspired by Allah. He was married at 25 years of age to Kadija, his first wife and at the  age of 40 he received the revelation from God during the month of Ramadan.
Mohamed (PBUH) taught Muslims that we must declare that there is no God other than Allah and that Mohamed (PBUH) is the messenger from Allah. We must pray five times a day, give charity, fast and do Hajj (pilgrim) if you can.
Mohamed (PBUH) was the greatest leader and not just for Muslims. Mohamed meaning “the praised one” was chosen by to be the greatest leader in the world and the last one following Jesus, Moses and Noah.
