What is Ramadan?

Ramadan
Ramadan is Ninth month of Islamic calendar.
Allah orders the believers to fast.
·        Fasting is for Allah alone.
We fast from sunrise to sunset and refrain food, water, sexual interaction.
Fasting it builds our strength to reject things we are not allowed to do.
Muslims take advantage of this month as our beloved prophet Mohamed (Pbuh) teaching us.
We pray more
 We  forgive more
We give more to charity
This month is great because the Quran was revealed to mankind, and that in the last (10 ) ten days of Ramadan Allah has given the people of Mohamed (pbuh) an  opportunity to gain great rewards during the night of power (Alqdr) which one night is worth one thousand (1000) months which equals the 84 years and three (3) months the prophet Mohamed (pbuh) asked for this because Noah lived for over 900hundred years in  comparison to today where  we live between 60- 70 years on average.
So from the night of power captured through praying, reading the Quran, making duwa and ziker (remembering Allah ) we get 84 years of rewards. Therefore in a lifetime, we have got the same opportunity to get rewards as the people of Noah.
